Rob, is featured on the right side of the photo and pictured with his best friend with whom he served in the military while stationed in California. Rob is originally from Chicago, IL, but after joining the Army and serving for 13 years as an infantryman, he never returned home. He is quickly approaching the 15 year mark as a Nurse! (Congratulations Rob!) He has been a Travel Nurse for over 10 years and is currently on assignment in Wilmington, N.C. We asked Rob what took him from the Army to Nursing. No surprise; it was a woman! Although the relationship didn’t last, he was convinced that Nursing was the career for him.
Q: Greg - I heard there are some recent changes made regarding Compact Licenses and a lot of the information I am getting is conflicting! Can you help me make sense of what is going on?
The Convergence Medical Staffing Featured Nurse for November is a true “TRAVELER”. Meet Marilyn S! Originally from Cameroon, West Africa, and currently on assignment in Charleston, S.C., this bubbly, energetic RN never meets a stranger. “I am a free spirit … I get to see different places, meet new people, and have made numerous long term friends!” It’s no wonder Marilyn has made so many friends; people are naturally drawn to her love for life. That may be the greatest reason she is one incredible nurse!

Our featured Traveler for October, Cathy A., comes from the small farming community of Lockney located in the Panhandle of Texas and situated between Lubbock and Amarillo. At the moment the views out of her windows couldn’t be more different than those she grew up with. Cathy is currently on assignment in the Rocky Mountain town of Salida, CO.

Our Featured Traveler for the month of September is a highly skilled RN who originally hales from the great state of Minnesota. Meet Lori D. – a thirteen-year experienced nurse with specializations in Medical Surgical, Emergency Room, and Long Term Acute Care. A long time resident of North Carolina, she now considers herself a native and seems to like it so much, she has most recently chosen a travel assignment in NC!
