Satisfaction in Variety and Challenges

Karie is from Florida and has been an RN for 12 years – specializing entirely in Medical Surgical.  Karie enjoys her specialty because she enjoys the types of patients she meets as a Medical Surgical nurse. She finds great satisfaction in the variety of cases presented and feels challenged in applying her medical expertise in every case.

Having come from a healthcare family, she knew “early on” that nursing was the right profession for her. Karie just loves being around people and helping them!

Karie explored Travel Nursing because she wanted to try something new without leaving nursing behind. Because 2020 offered enough challenges, Karie decided to look for assignments somewhat close to home until she was acclimated to traveling as a nurse. So far, her favorite assignment has been in Venice, Fl. She attributes her love of that assignment that to the friendly staff and their willingness to help.

Everyone pulls their weight at work, and it makes all the difference in the world to be a contributing member of such a strong nursing team!
