Meet Antrice W., LPN: Convergence Medical Staffing’s Featured Traveler for March. This exceptional nurse has been a Traveler for shortly over a year and has found much success in her assignments – despite the unique challenges presented by the COVID virus.

The quote in our title is an excerpt from an evaluation from one of Antrice’s direct supervisors. Another supervisor has said of Antrice: “I am sad to see Antrice go. Any facility will be lucky to get her!”

From a young age Antrice felt the calling to help heal the sick. She started her Healthcare career by becoming a CNA just after High School and later continued her education and career by becoming a nurse.

When COVID hit the U.S., Antrice was determined to do her part and started traveling. Her favorite assignment so far has been in Arkansas.  She liked the location because it had both a country feel with enough attractions to enjoy the area. “The people were welcoming, and the facility really appreciated the extra help”, says Antrice.

Antrice selects her assignments based on the experience that she is likely to gain. She also enjoys meeting people she would not have met otherwise, adjusting to the different facility cultures, learning new methods, and, of course, discovering the different foods each state has to offer.

We asked Antrice what she likes about Convergence and her Recruiter:

Antrice offers the following advise to travelers: “Enjoy your experience and take in as much knowledge as you can.  In the end, you will find that the depth and breadth of your skills are well developed beyond those of the average employee.”
